Adoption Process
If you are interested in a rat that I have advertised as available, please contact me via Facebook Messenger on my Poké Rats Facebook Page, to find out more information.
I reserve the right to choose which homes each rat goes to, and may ask questions to establish if you are a good match and if the rat is suitable for your purposes (pet only vs breeding).
On occasion, some rats may be advertised as strictly pet only, not suitable for breeding.
If a rat is classed as pet only, it is for a good reason, so I kindly ask for any restrictions to be honoured, in order to keep a high standard of rats being bred within the community.
Standard adoption fee of $35 each applies unless otherwise stated.
I was previously happy and able to cover all rat expenses while working full time. However, being a new Mum and no longer working, means that I have had to increase my prices so that I can continue to work on my projects while focusing on quality and not quantity out the door!!
Poké Rats does not support the keeping of lone rats, so please make sure that you are either buying more than one, or already have other same sex rats at home.
If you are unable to keep your Poké Rats for any reason, they are always welcome to return to me, if you don't have another good home in mind with a friend or family.
